How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you passionate about product development and ready to drive commercial success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment?

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to create compelling, high-performing product ranges. In this role, you will lead the product lifecycle from initial concept through to delivery, working closely with design, engineering, QA, and international suppliers to deliver market-leading ranges.

    What You’ll Do

    • Conduct competitor research and analyse sales data to identify category growth opportunities globally.
    • Brief internal design teams and Far East factories on new concepts, negotiate tooling costs, and manage the full product lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with artwork teams and QA to ensure packaging meets brand guidelines, safety standards, and critical path timelines.
    • Build strong relationships with overseas suppliers, negotiate terms to maximise margins, and manage accurate pricing and line lists.
    • Prepare showroom displays and present product ranges to Senior Management, Sales Teams, and key retail partners.
    • Provide day-to-day line management and mentorship for junior team members.
    • Attend key trade fairs and travel internationally to support development and vendor relationships.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A passion for creative product development and conceptualising product features.
    • Strong background in commercial buying, sourcing, and negotiating with Far East factories.
    • solid understanding of both UK and international retail marketplaces.
    • Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration (Design, QA, Engineering, and Sales).
    • Experience with line management or mentoring junior team members.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills.
    • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

    How to Apply

If you thrive in a high-energy environment and want to make a direct impact on product strategy, send us your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
