Associate / Senior Associate – Debt Advisory
We are partnering with a leading real assets debt advisory platform to hire an experienced Associate / Senior Associate for its London team. The firm advises clients across infrastructure, energy and real estate–backed assets on financing strategy, structuring and execution.
This is an opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial advisory business, working on high‑profile transactions and building deep relationships with banks, institutional lenders and private credit funds.
The opportunity
The role is based in the City of London within a real asset’s debt advisory team, operating in a hybrid working environment with a minimum of three days a week in the office. You will support the preparation of information memoranda, financial models and management presentations for live transactions, contribute to new business pitches and idea generation, and help manage lender relationships across banks, institutional investors and private credit providers, working closely with senior colleagues in a dynamic, growth‑oriented setting.
Key responsibilities
- Execution:Support day‑to‑day execution of debt advisory mandates
- Prepare information memoranda, transaction structures, financial models and management presentations
- Build and review complex financial models to support decision‑making throughout the deal process
- Business development:Contribute to idea generation, initiatives and pitches, identifying potential target transactions and clients
- Assist with preparation of pitch books, board materials and other presentations for strategic client dialogue
- Relationships:Assist in managing lending relationships across banks, institutions and private credit funds
- Help coordinate lender workstreams during processes, including information requests and feedback
- Leadership & team contributionProvide guidance and oversight to junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their development
- Contribute positively to the wider team and business, sharing best practice and supporting growth initiatives
Skills and experience
- Minimum 4+ years’ real assets experience in corporate lending, credit/risk or debt advisory
- Exposure to senior and junior real assets debt across infrastructure, energy and real estate
- Strong credit judgement, able to assess and clearly articulate key risks and mitigants
- Advanced financial modelling with solid written presentation and project management skills
- Proven relationship builder with clients, lenders and internal stakeholders
- Ambitious, collegiate, client‑focused and highly motivated; comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, high‑growth environment
