A leading architecture and building consultancy are currently seeking a bid writer to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic business.
You will have bid experience from working within a construction / multi-disciplinary / engineering consultancy or company and have a good understanding of the built environment. You must have excellent written skills and ideally have some experience or interest in using AI to support bidding.
This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office which can be based in Leeds or Huddersfield. Salary is £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience, however my client may be able to look ats lightly more should you have the right level of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Writing and preparation of bids and submissions to potential and existing clients including tender submissions, PQQs/SQs, proposals and quotes
- Preparation and management of bid content from a variety of colleagues throughout the business, including Directors, Building Surveyors and Architects
- Assisting with the compilation of documentation for bids and tenders and other business development and marketing projects
- Preparation of bid content includes case studies for our previous projects, CVs of staff, charts and diagrams, and writing answers to clients’ questions
- Building excellent working relationships with Directors and staff throughout the business, together with external contacts
- Ensuring bid materials and company information are up to date and current
- Implementing bid procedures and processes to support senior members
- Helping to maintain a set of past answers and other company information to assist with bids and tenders
