How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Head of Reward

London | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

We’re partnering with a leading organisation to appoint a Head of Reward into a high-impact, standalone role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, hands-on reward professional to take full ownership of the reward agenda - shaping strategy while remaining close to delivery. You'll lead on pay, bonus, benefits and recognition, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver a compelling and competitive reward proposition that supports attraction, retention and engagement.

    The Role

    • Own and deliver the end-to-end annual reward cycle, including salary reviews, bonus planning and market benchmarking.
    • Lead the reward strategy across compensation, benefits and recognition, embedding best-practice frameworks across the organisation.
    • Act as the custodian of job grading and evaluation methodologies.
    • Produce RemCo papers, executive-level analysis and gender pay gap reporting.
    • Manage key external providers, including pensions, benefits and benchmarking suppliers.
    • Provide expert reward advice and guidance to HR colleagues and senior leaders.
    • Balance strategic initiatives with operational delivery in a lean, agile environment.

    About You

    • Proven experience leading or operating as a standalone reward specialist within a similar organisation.
    • Strong technical expertise across compensation, benchmarking and job evaluation.
    • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex reward data.
    • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
    • Able to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
    • Resilient, agile and commercially minded.
    • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting at executive level.

    Why This Role?

    • True ownership of the reward function in a visible, strategic role.
    • Opportunity to shape and modernise the organisation's reward offering.
    • Hybrid working with a London base.
    • Ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on role within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make a tangible impact while leading the reward agenda across a purpose-driven organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
