About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Head Sommelier to join our vibrant team at ROKA Canary Wharf. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will embody our passion for exceptional hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable welcome from the moment they arrive.
Our Head Sommeliers are dedicated, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, all while upholding ROKA’s renowned high standards. Full of personality and professionalism, you’ll inspire your team to deliver the outstanding service and seamless guest experience that define us.
Our Ideal Head Sommelier
You’ll embody our values and bring:
- A genuine love for hospitality, with a passion for Japanese cuisine and exceptional dining experiences
- Proven experience as a Head Sommelier or an Assistant Head Sommelier in a quality, high-volume restaurant environment
- WSET 2 or 3 (desired), but will consider applicants with the equivalent experience.
- Experience with stocktake, ordering and deliveries.
- A warm, customer-focused approach, with the ability to create memorable moments for every guest
