About the Role
Our client offers a unique opportunity to shape the future visual identity and collection strategy for two iconic global names: Ed Hardy and AND1.
They are now looking for a creative, organised and motivated Junior Designer to join their Manchester-based Design team.
Working across Ed Hardy and AND1, you will support the development of seasonal collections from initial research and concept through to sampling and final product.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career to develop across both apparel and graphic design while working with two globally recognised brands.
Key Responsibilities
•
Design Support: Assist with the development of seasonal collections across streetwear and lifestyle-sportswear.
•
Trend Forecasting & Concept: Anticipate future trends and commercial movements, translating them into relevant, forward-thinking collections that honour each brand's core identity.
•
CADs & Tech Packs: Create and update garment CADs, colourways, artwork files and technical packs.
•
Product Development: Support the sampling and development process, working closely with the Design team and Product Development team in China.
•
Range Development: Assist with seasonal ranges, colour palettes, fabrics, trims and presentation materials.
•
Brand Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of Ed Hardy and AND1, ensuring product remains authentic to each brand while feeling relevant to today's consumer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work together with creative, commercial, and operational teams across our global offices to bring cohesive collections from concept to consumer.
What We Are Looking For
•
Experience: Previous experience within a junior, assistant, placement or internship design role is beneficial, ideally within streetwear.
•
Design Skills: Strong creative ability across apparel design, with a good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims and product development.
•
Graphic Design: Confident creating graphics, prints, and artwork, with an understanding of how graphics translate onto garments.
•
Technical Skills: Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, with the ability to create CADs, artwork files and technical packs.
•
Trend & Commercial Awareness: A strong interest in streetwear, sportswear, fashion and youth culture, with an understanding of current trends, brands and the wider market.
•
Brand Versatility: Ability to understand and design across two distinct brand identities, adapting your creative approach between Ed Hardy and AND1.
•
Organisation: Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
•
Communication & Collaboration: A positive team player who is confident taking direction, responding to feedback and working collaboratively across Design, Product Development and wider teams.
•
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant apparel and graphic design work, from initial concepts and research through to developed designs.
