How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    This role is pivotal in driving the growth of the Mizuno golf soft good business (bags, gloves, golf balls, accessories, footwear and apparel) with a strong focus on the systems admin, database management and suggested pricing to align with company margin targets. There will be some focus on product development, supplier collaboration, and global product alignment. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including E-commerce, Suppliers, Product, and Sales teams, to enhance Mizuno’s market presence and ensure product excellence.


    Key tasks and responsibilities include;


    Database Management

    • Upload and maintain accurate product information, images, pricing and updates on the B2B platform ensuring obsolete items are removed and images are correctly formatted.
    • Maintain and update a comprehensive product "bible" with detailed specs, pricing, and other product information, ensuring accuracy for retailers before launches.
    • Ensure AWorkbook is up to date for all categories including pricing and imagery, new products displayed in the correct collection and remove OP or Oversold product to ensure Sales Team are viewing the most up to date product availability.


    PO and System Management – Soft Goods (Footwear, Apparel, bags, gloves, balls & Accessories)

    • Ensure POs are approved, accurate, and raised on schedule
    • Support the demand planner to enhance forecasting, manage purchase orders, and resolve import queries, improving supply chain efficiency.
    • Ensure soft goods PLP’s reflect the latest product/launch information
    • Be the main point of contact for JDE system issues for apparel, footwear, gloves, balls, bags and accessories.
    • Maintain information in JDE for configuration of style codes including EAN codes, purchase prices etc


    Defective Report Compilation

    • Analyse monthly defect reports, calculate figures, and communicate findings to MCJ.
    • Update trade pricing and manage credits and returns related to defective items.


    Product Development & Research

    • Consult on research, development, and planning for future Mizuno golf products, focusing on bags, gloves, golf balls, accessories, footwear and apparel
    • Analyse current and future market trends to ensure Mizuno’s golf offerings remain competitive and innovative.
    • Identify and explore potential brand collaborations to elevate Mizuno Golf’s brand presence (e.g., partnerships with brands like Manors).


    Apparel and Footwear Development & Growth

    • Drive the growth and development of Mizuno’s apparel range to meet strategic objectives.
    • Ensure adherence to timelines, production schedules, and quality standards in apparel development.
    • Collaborate with internal teams in Rotterdam to communicate the specific needs of the golf category.
    • Participate in apparel collaborations to enhance brand awareness.


    Accessories & Regional Product Initiatives

    • Develop a distinct, EMEA-only SMU collection across all soft good categories separate from global offerings.
    • Manage the seasonal development of soft goods (balls, bags, gloves, accessories, apparel and footwear) in close collaboration with suppliers and sales managers.
    • Work with PRG and other suppliers to manage in-season accessories and create seasonal product lines, such as themed headcovers.
    • Assist in designing headwear and accessories, including CADs and tech packs to support internal design processes.


    Cross-Regional Communication & Collaboration

    • Strengthen communication across regions (MUS, MOC, MCL) to align product strategies and ensure more globally consistent products.
    • Participate in cross-regional meetings to align on product updates and strategies.


    Seasonal/Product Photoshoots

    • Oversee product photoshoots with our vendor, ensuring products meet Mizuno standards and recharge costs to other regions as required.
    • Assist in production, manage product labelling, and ensure accuracy in final shots for promotional use.
    • The job holder may be required to carry out other reasonable job tasks as requested by their manager.


    Salary

    £37k - £42k DOE

    Your Skills and Experience

    The ideal candidate will have/be;

    1. IT skills including advanced Excel
    2. Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
    3. Excellent Communication and presentation skills
    4. Knowledge of Golf & in particular Golf Product
    5. Supply Chain experience would be preferrable
    6. Able to work effectively and collaborate with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
    7. Strong Project Management
    8. Experience of Product development and forecasting
    9. Understanding of Brand & Product Positioning
