How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our Legal team based in London. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment, supporting legal operations across multiple jurisdictions within the Europe and Africa region.


    The Legal Intern will assist with legal research, data analysis, contract review, regulatory monitoring, and compliance-related activities, contributing to the effective management of legal risks.


    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations in regions of operations
    • Support the team in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
    • Assist in maintaining and updating legal databases and legal trackers
    • Monitor and summarize regulatory developments, including areas such as corporate law, employment law, digital/technology laws and compliance requirements
    • Provide support on compliance and ethics initiatives, including internal trainings and documentation
    • Help prepare legal memoranda, presentations, and reports
    • Assist with corporate governance matters, including corporate record keeping
    • Support legal projects and initiatives across the region
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel where required


    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent)
    • Solid understanding of core legal principles (contract law, corporate law, compliance)
    • Strong legal research and drafting skills
    • High level of integrity and professionalism
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


    Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
    • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
    • Interest in energy, infrastructure, or multinational corporate environments
    • Digital and data analysis skills and ability to use basic digital tools e.g. MS Excel, PowerApps
    • Previous internships or exposure to corporate, commercial, or regulatory law is an advantage
    • Good understanding of regional regulatory environments is an advantage
