How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Employee Relations Specialist – High-Growth FinTech

    White City, London | Full Time | Hybrid (4 days office, 1 day home) | £70,000 - £80,000

We are partnering with an exciting, high-growth FinTech to appoint an experienced Employee Relations Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to join a scaling business where employee relations is a critical function, supporting a large operational workforce and enabling business performance through effective people management.

We're particularly interested in speaking with ER professionals who have managed high-volume, complex casework within operational environments, such as distribution centres, logistics, facilities management, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, transport, customer operations, or other workforce-heavy businesses.

    The Role

Reporting into the People team, you'll take ownership of a busy ER caseload, partnering closely with managers to navigate employee issues confidently, consistently, and in line with employment legislation. This role will suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys balancing commerciality with compliance, and is comfortable supporting managers who may have limited HR experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing a high-volume ER caseload across disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, conduct and capability matters
    • Leading complex performance management processes, including PIPs and capability cases
    • Advising managers on probation reviews, attendance management and flexible working requests
    • Coaching and upskilling line managers to handle people issues effectively and confidently
    • Ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures and employment legislation
    • Identifying ER trends, risks and areas for improvement across the organisation
    • Supporting the development and implementation of scalable people policies and frameworks
    • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to minimise risk and drive positive employee outcomes

    About You

    • Proven experience managing a high-volume ER caseload within a fast-paced, operational environment
    • Background in sectors such as logistics, distribution, facilities management, retail, manufacturing, transport, hospitality or other large workforce businesses
    • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and practical ER application
    • Experience handling complex performance, conduct, grievance and absence cases from start to finish
    • Comfortable working with operational managers and influencing stakeholders at all levels
    • Resilient, pragmatic and commercially minded, with a solutions-focused approach
    • Experience reviewing and improving policies and ER processes would be highly advantageous
    • Able to work on a hybrid basis, with 4 days per week in the White City office

    What's on Offer

    • Salary of £70,000 - £80,000
    • Opportunity to join a high-growth FinTech during an exciting phase of expansion
    • Significant ownership and visibility within the People function
    • Fast-paced, ambitious and collaborative culture
    • The chance to shape ER strategy and frameworks as the business continues to scale

If you're an ER specialist used to dealing with large employee populations, high case volumes and hands-on operational environments, we'd love to hear from you.
