How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An elite US law firm is seeking a talented Antitrust Associate (2–6 PQE) to join its market-leading Competition practice in London.

This is an opportunity to advise on some of the world's most high-profile and strategically significant transactions, investigations and disputes, working alongside recognised leaders in the field across Europe, the US and Asia.

    The Role

You will advise an impressive international client base, including private equity sponsors, multinational corporations and financial institutions, on a broad range of UK, EU and cross-border competition law matters.

    Your work will include:

    • Advising on the competition aspects of complex domestic and international M&A transactions.
    • Managing merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) filings across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Advising clients on UK and EU competition law issues throughout the deal lifecycle.
    • Representing clients in cartel investigations, behavioural investigations and regulatory enquiries.
    • Working closely with economists, regulators and specialist counsel on high-value, strategically important matters.
    • Assisting with competition litigation and follow-on damages claims where required.
    • Collaborating with corporate, private equity and litigation teams on multidisciplinary mandates.

    The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from associates with:

    • 2–6 years' post-qualification experience gained at a leading UK, US or international law firm.
    • Strong experience in UK and/or EU competition law.
    • Exposure to merger control, cartel investigations or competition litigation.
    • Experience advising on complex cross-border transactions.
    • Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
    • Strong academics and a commercially focused approach to client service.
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative international environment.

    The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the world's premier antitrust practices, acting on landmark transactions and regulatory matters for global clients. The team offers early responsibility, close partner contact and genuine opportunities for career progression within a highly collegiate and entrepreneurial environment.

    You will benefit from:

    • Market-leading quality of work.
    • Exposure to premium private equity and corporate clients.
    • Cross-border, multi-jurisdictional matters.
    • Excellent mentoring and professional development.
    • A competitive remuneration package and comprehensive benefits.

If you are looking to take the next step in your competition law career within a top-tier international practice, we would be delighted to hear from you
