How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

🤖 Compliance Legal Engineer (Deputy HOLP & Deputy MLRO)

AI-Powered Conveyancing Firm | London | Competitive Salary

Are you a qualified conveyancer with a strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process and a passion for compliance, innovation and technology?

We are working with an exciting AI-led conveyancing law firm that is looking for a Compliance Legal Engineer (Deputy HOLP & Deputy MLRO) to join their growing team and help shape the future of legal compliance.

This is a unique opportunity for a conveyancing professional who wants to combine their technical legal knowledge with compliance expertise and emerging AI technology. You will play a key role in developing smarter compliance processes, supporting AML frameworks, improving risk management and helping build the next generation of legal technology.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential conveyancing, with experience across the full conveyancing lifecycle and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, AML, client due diligence, source of funds checks, file reviews and compliance processes.

You will ideally have experience supporting or overseeing compliance within a regulated legal environment, with exposure to CLC/SRA regulations, risk management or roles such as Deputy HOLP, Deputy MLRO, COLP/MLRO support or senior compliance positions.

This role is perfect for someone who is curious about how AI can transform legal services and enjoys turning complex regulations into practical, efficient processes. ✓ Qualified conveyancer with a current practising certificate

✓ Strong residential conveyancing experience and understanding of the end-to-end process

✓ Compliance, AML and risk management experience within a legal environment

✓ Interest in AI, automation and legal technology
