How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Client

    A major international law firm with a large and well established London office, with market leading practices in areas such as Corporate, Disputes, TMT, Real Estate, Banking & Finance in addition to niche specialist practices.


    The Role

    • Lead the implementation programme on AI tools such as Copilot and Harvey to Disputes workflows, including document analysis, drafting, and workflow automation, in line the team's strategic priorities.
    • Design process solutions for the Disputes teams and, where appropriate, for Disputes clients.
    • Provide legal input into new innovation ideas such as new products and services.
    • Serve as the interface between fee-earning teams and central innovation and operations functions.
    • Train, upskill and support lawyers and teams to adopt new ways of working and legal technology consistently.
    • Support client-facing activity: contribute to pitches, co-design client solutions, and identify opportunities to deliver tech-enabled support to clients that strengthens our relationships.



    Experience Required

    The successful candidate will work with the firm’s lawyers in the use and adoption of legal technology tools, as such, the ideal candidate will have an established litigation background.

    They will lead the Legal Innovation team to design and deliver innovative and effective processes and solutions.


    • At least six years experience working in a legal technology or innovation / design role or experience working as a litigator in a leading London practice in a role that has championed the use of technology alongside fee earning.
    • Able to clearly articulate technical concepts using non-technical language.
    • Ability to create strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
