How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Company Description MIDIBART is a growing organisation based in Chester, focused on developing talent through structured apprenticeship opportunities. The company values curiosity, practical learning, and a supportive environment where early-career professionals can gain hands-on experience. Apprentices are encouraged to contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, and learn from more experienced team members. MIDIBART aims to provide clear progression pathways, helping individuals build skills that are transferable across roles and industries.
Role Description This full-time Apprentice role at MIDIBART is a hybrid position, based in Chester with the flexibility to work from home for some tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting team projects, completing assigned tasks under guidance, and assisting with administrative and operational activities as needed. The apprentice will learn to follow established processes, use relevant tools and systems, and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement. The role also involves participating in training sessions, documenting work accurately, and communicating regularly with supervisors and colleagues to ensure progress and alignment with team goals.
    Qualifications

    • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply guidance to practical tasks, with strong attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with colleagues and supervisors.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Comfort with basic digital tools and office software, with willingness to learn new systems.
    • Positive, proactive attitude, reliability, and readiness to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Interest in developing a professional career through structured training; prior work or internship experience is beneficial but not required.
    • Ability to commute to Chester regularly for on-site work as part of the hybrid arrangement.
