How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Support the adoption of AI-powered procurement tools and digital sourcing solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
    • Embed ESG, Sustainability, Carbon Reduction and DE&I objectives into sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
    • Negotiate commercial agreements that deliver value while effectively managing supplier risk.
    • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Finance and business leaders throughout the sourcing lifecycle.

    About You

    • Approximately 3–5 years' procurement experience across indirect spend categories.
    • Experience managing strategic sourcing projects from strategy through to contract award.
    • Exposure to categories such as HR, Marketing, Travel, Professional Services or Facilities Management would be advantageous.
    • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
    • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
    • Experience within Financial Services, Professional Services or another complex corporate environment is desirable.
    • Degree educated.
    • Passionate about innovation, digital procurement and continuous improvement.

You'll receive mentoring from senior procurement leaders, gain exposure to high-profile strategic sourcing projects, and benefit from a clear pathway into Procurement Manager roles within 12–18 months, alongside a competitive bonus, excellent benefits and flexible hybrid working.
