How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Founded with a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and modern sophistication, Casablanca is defined by its free-spirited ethos and distinctive aesthetic. More than a fashion house, Casablanca offers an immersive lifestyle experience, where artistry, creativity, and innovation meet. As we continue to expand globally, digital excellence sits at the heart of our growth strategy. We are looking for ambitious talents to join us on this journey, shaping the way Casablanca connects with its community worldwide.

    Job Overview

We're looking for an exceptional Womenswear Designer to help shape the next chapter of Casablanca's Womenswear collections. Working closely with the Creative Director and Head of Womenswear, you will lead the creative development of collections from concept through to final product, ensuring each piece reflects Casablanca's distinctive identity while introducing fresh, innovative ideas.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of contemporary luxury fashion, exceptional design sensibility and the ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness.

You will play a key role in delivering collections that exemplify the highest standards of craftsmanship, innovation and quality. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, collaborative and thrives in a fast-paced luxury fashion environment, with a passion for creating exceptional Womenswear that continues to evolve the Casablanca brand.

    The role

    • Research and develop seasonal, continuity and capsule collection concepts, themes, colour palettes, fabrics and silhouettes that align with Casablanca's creative vision and brand strategy.
    • Produce inspiring mood boards, design presentations, Product Range Lists and supporting creative materials.
    • Design innovative Womenswear collections from initial concept through to final sample approval, ensuring all deadlines are met.
    • Drive innovation by researching and implementing new techniques, fabrications, garment constructions and silhouettes that can be applied across the collection.
    • Work closely with the Creative Director and Head of Womenswear throughout every stage of the design and development process.
    • Collaborate with Product Manager to deliver commercially viable collections that meet design, quality and costing objectives.
    • Partner with the Fabric Development team and suppliers to source premium fabrics, trims and components that support the creative vision.
    • Liaise with the Product Development team throughout product development to ensure design integrity is maintained.
    • Support the creation and accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) alongside Product Managers.
    • Work collaboratively with Garment Technologists and the Atelier to refine fit, sizing, garment construction and fabric suitability.
    • Balance innovation with consistency, ensuring each collection remains recognisably Casablanca while continually evolving the Womenswear offering.
    • Present design concepts, seasonal developments and collections to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Assist with styling collections for fashion shows, presentations, lookbooks, marketing campaigns, showroom preparation and collection presentations.
    • Maintain awareness of departmental budgets and manage role-related expenditure responsibly.
    • Stay informed of emerging fashion trends, luxury competitors, consumer behaviour and industry innovations to ensure Casablanca remains at the forefront of luxury Womenswear.

    The candidate

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Womenswear Designer position within a recognised luxury fashion brand.
    • Proven experience designing contemporary luxury Womenswear collections from concept through to production.
    • Exceptional understanding of luxury craftsmanship, garment construction, fabric development and premium finishes.
    • Strong creative vision with the ability to balance innovation with commercial awareness.
    • Demonstrable experience developing seasonal concepts, colour palettes, silhouettes and product stories.
    • Excellent knowledge of luxury fabrics, trims, embellishments and manufacturing techniques.
    • Experience working closely with Product Development, Technical, Atelier and Production teams.
    • Strong understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
    • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • Strong sketching, illustration and presentation skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
    • A genuine passion for luxury fashion, craftsmanship and innovation.

    Desirable

    • Experience working within an international luxury fashion house.
    • Knowledge of premium textile innovation and sustainable material development.
    • Experience supporting runway collections and fashion presentations.
    • Understanding of luxury retail markets and customer trends.
    • Experience mentoring or supporting junior designers.
