How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

I'm currently partnering with a globally recognised £multi-billion manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Supply Planning Systems Specialist / Key User to support a major European planning systems transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of a large-scale planning systems rollout, supporting 12 manufacturing sites across Europe as they transition onto a new planning platform. You'll play a key role during the go-live phase before becoming the first point of contact for planning systems support, process improvement and best practice across the network.

This role would suit someone who enjoys improving planning processes, solving operational challenges and acting as the go-to expert for planning systems rather than carrying out day-to-day supply planning activities.

    The Opportunity:

Working closely with Supply Planning, IT and operational stakeholders across Europe, you'll become the functional expert for planning systems, ensuring users are fully supported throughout implementation and beyond.

You'll help optimise planning performance through systems expertise, user support, master data governance and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting approximately 35 planning users across multiple manufacturing sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the Planning Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME).
    • Provide first-line functional support for Supply Planning users.
    • Support factories during planning systems go-live and stabilisation.
    • Coach and train users on planning systems and best practice.
    • Test new functionality and system enhancements.
    • Investigate and resolve planning and systems issues.
    • Drive continuous improvement across planning processes.
    • Own planning master data governance and reporting.
    • Work collaboratively with Supply Planning, IT and international stakeholders across Europe.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Experience with Kinaxis Maestro, Kinaxis RapidResponse, OMP, Blue Yonder, SAP, SAP IBP, SAP APO or other Advanced Planning Systems (APS) would be highly advantageous.
    • Supply Planning, Planning Systems, Supply Chain Systems experience.
    • Planning Excellence, Planning Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement experience.
    • Materials Planning, Packaging Planning experience.
    • Master Data experience.
    • ERP or Planning Systems implementations experience.
    • Go-live or business transformation projects experience.

    Why Apply?

    • Join a globally recognised manufacturing organisation.
    • Be part of a major European planning systems transformation.
    • Support a high-profile go-live programme across multiple manufacturing sites.
    • Work with international stakeholders across Europe.
    • Flexible remote working with autonomy over your working day.
    • Initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension up to 18 months.
    • Opportunity to shape planning best practice across a large manufacturing network.

If you're looking for an opportunity where you can combine planning knowledge, systems expertise and continuous improvement within a global organisation, I'd love to hear from you.
