How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The company has an opportunity Apprentice Flexographic Printer in our Boston site.


    Location: Boston, UK

    Position type: Full time, Permanent

    Working Hours: Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00 (Mon–Thu), 06:00 – 13:00 (Fri), Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00 (Mon–Thu), 13:00 – 20:00 (Fri)


    About the Role


    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Flexographic Printer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in print production. You will learn how to operate advanced flexographic printing equipment, including a 10-colour narrow web servo-driven press, while working alongside experienced printers.


    Full training and support will be provided as you develop the skills required to become a qualified Flexographic Printer.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in preparing printing presses for production runs
    • Learn to operate and monitor flexographic printing machines
    • Support with maintaining inks and solvents according to job specifications
    • Help identify and report printing issues or equipment faults
    • Work towards achieving production speed and quality targets
    • Follow all quality control and assurance procedures
    • Maintain accurate production records
    • Support continuous improvement in processes to reduce downtime and waste
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively within the team
    • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment


    What We’re Looking For

    • A strong interest in print, engineering, or manufacturing
    • Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
    • Basic IT skills (training on systems will be provided)


    Desirable (but not essential)

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
    • Awareness of flexographic printing
    • Understanding of quality standards such as SEDEX or ETI
