This US Law firm are currently looking for an associate with 2-6yrs experience to work exclusively on asset-backed securities.
This well-publicised market leading structured finance team is in growth mode and looking to further build-out it’s dedicated bench of ABS lawyers due to significant demand and workflow. The team advises on the structuring and documentation of structured investment vehicles and both public and private securitisations across a broad range of asset classes, including:
- Auto leases
- Loans and subscriptions
- Credit card receivables
- Consumer receivables
- Equipment leases
- Trade and inventory receivables
As well as more esoteric asset classes, such as:
- Insurance premia
- Handset
- P2P and other payment plan or cash advance receivables, as well as
- Asset-backed and NAV facilities.
You should have significant experience in sophisticated securitisation matters, having worked for a prominent City/US law firm and be interested in building a career as a specialist ABS lawyer. You should also display an interest in a client-centred practice and the ability to work effectively as a contributing member of the team. Given the diversity of work and the leaner team structure, this is an ideal platform for someone seeking a genuine challenge, responsibility and accelerated progression.
