How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Be you, join us.

We are currently seeking an HR Payroll and Operations Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end HR operations across the United Kingdom, while supporting additional European countries and the US as needed. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving ARIS’s mission to stabilise and scale HR operations following its post-carve-out transformation.

Reporting directly to the CPO, you will act as the primary HR point of contact for your markets, working closely with Regional HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal teams.

This is a high-impact role offering strong ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape a more efficient, data-driven, and scalable HR operating model across Europe. If you enjoy building structure, improving processes, and working in an international environment, this role offers a unique platform to make a tangible difference.

    Essential Functions

    • Act as the primary HR owner for payroll activities in the UK, coordinating monthly processing of end-to-end in-house payroll via Dayforce.
    • Validate payroll inputs and outputs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
    • Manage payroll-related employee inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
    • Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers in the UK, with additional support across Europe as required
    • Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, contract changes, absences, offboarding) with a strong focus on accuracy and execution
    • Ensure compliance with UK labour law and internal HR policies
    • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and documentation
    • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, HR letters, and related documentation
    • Support managers and employees on HR processes, policies, and operational topics
    • Handle employee relations matters and escalate complex cases where appropriate
    • Support headcount tracking, reporting, and workforce data management
    • Identify process gaps and contribute to standardisation, simplification, and automation initiatives

    Minimum Requirements

    • 4–6 years of experience in Payroll, HR operations, HR administration, or a generalist HR role in an international environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Solid understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration
    • Exposure to UK HR practices and labour law
    • Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently manage a defined country scope
    • High attention to detail, reliability, and confidentiality
    • Strong communication skills in English
    • Proficiency in HR systems and Excel

    Nice to Haves

    • Experience supporting multiple countries across Europe and the US
    • Additional European language skills
    • Experience working in a transformation or post-carve-out environment
    • Exposure to HR process improvement, automation, or scaling initiatives

    What We Offer

    • Competitive salary package with specific country benefits
    • Hybrid work model
    • A critical, hands-on role in a transforming HR Operations environment
    • High responsibility combined with a pragmatic, operational focus
    • The opportunity to actively shape HR operations and payroll-input processes in a modern HRIS landscape
