How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role – Service Desk Coordinator

Location – 1 day in London, home based 4 days

Package – to £37,000 salary plus benefits

The opportunity is to join a leading IT Managed Services Provider in the mid-market and enterprise health and social care space.

The business supports these organisations across the UK with their largest client being 4,000 users across 60 sites.

The role is Service Desk Coordinator…

    The Role:

    Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate change management and provisioning requests.

Monitor multiple client ticket queues simultaneously.

Schedule and allocate work to the Provisioning Team.

Track work through to successful completion.

Ensure agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved.

    Monitor engineer workloads and priorities.

Liaise with third-party IT, telecoms and software providers.

Keep clients informed through telephone, email and ticket updates.

Maintain accurate records within our service management platform.

Coordinate deliveries of equipment to client sites throughout the UK.

Manage stock movements into and out of the business.

Produce weekly and monthly operational reports.

Support the Service Desk Team Lead with service coordination activities.

Escalate risks, delays and issues before they impact clients.
