MLRO
London (hybrid) · Full-time · £180-£200k base
Our client is an FCA-regulated digital assets firm.
You would report to the CEO with a functional line to the Group Chief Risk Officer, hold a seat on the Executive Committee, and have direct, unfettered access to the Board Risk and Audit Committee
What you'll need
- Senior accountability as a UK MLRO or nominated officer with proven experience working with Institutional regulated clients.
- A track record of building financial crime frameworks, not only operating them
- Deep working knowledge of the MLRs 2017, POCA, SAMLA 2018, OFSI, JMLSG and FATF guidance, and the FCA Financial Crime Guide
- Experience designing and calibrating rules-based monitoring and screening, and directing analytics rather than performing it
- Working knowledge of Cryptoasset typologies, the UK registration regime and the Travel Rule
Helpful, not essential: FSMA or MiFID investment firm experience; CASS or client asset exposure; a financial market infrastructure background.
