How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Company Description OpenApply Inc. Is an AI-powered platform transforming how top-tier university admissions are managed, partnering with high-potential students targeting leading institutions such as the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and the London School of Economics. The company blends advanced AI systems with elite human mentorship to deliver a highly structured, data-driven, and personalized admissions experience. Its platform covers the full journey from applicant evaluation and strategy design to university matching, application workflow management, and essay refinement. OpenApply also supports academic and extracurricular positioning and access to global opportunities, including research, internships, and summer programs. Focused on outcomes rather than volume, OpenApply is built for ambitious individuals and families seeking more than standardized pathways and aiming to build world-class profiles.
Role Description The Graduate Management Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The trainee will support core business operations, including coordinating admissions workflows, assisting with student onboarding, and maintaining accurate records across internal systems. Day-to-day tasks will involve conducting research on universities and programs, preparing reports and presentations, and helping refine internal processes to improve efficiency and client experience. The trainee will collaborate with mentors, advisors, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of services and to uphold high standards of professionalism and responsiveness. Over time, the role is designed to provide exposure to strategic decision-making, AI-enabled tools, and client-facing responsibilities, with structured development and feedback.
    Qualifications
    • Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and present data on universities, programs, and admissions trends.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to create clear documentation, reports, and presentations.
    • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or workflow systems), and readiness to work with AI-enabled solutions.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative mindset, professional integrity, and strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and internal teams.
    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Education, or related disciplines.
    • Demonstrated interest in higher education, global opportunities, or talent development; prior internship or project experience in these areas is an advantage.
    • Right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to be based on-site in the London Area.
