How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Construction Disputes Associate (1–4 PQE) | Elite International Disputes Practice

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Construction Disputes Associate (1–4 PQE) to join one of London's most highly regarded disputes practices.

This is a chance to become part of a growing specialist team handling some of the largest and most technically complex construction and infrastructure disputes globally. With an expanding pipeline of high-value work, the successful candidate will gain significant responsibility from day one, working closely with an experienced partner recognised for advising on market-leading disputes.

    The Role

You will advise on a broad range of high-value contentious construction matters, including:

    • Technology & Construction Court (TCC) litigation
    • International arbitration
    • Adjudications
    • Complex infrastructure, energy and major projects disputes
    • Direct client contact and meaningful responsibility within a lean, specialist team

The practice acts on major disputes across sectors including energy, infrastructure, transport, renewables, petrochemicals, public sector projects and large-scale international developments.

Recent representative matters include advising on:

    • Multi-billion-dollar infrastructure arbitrations in the Middle East
    • Disputes relating to major metro and transport projects
    • Saudi giga-project developments
    • Offshore wind farm claims
    • UK waste-to-energy projects
    • International oil & gas and petrochemical arbitrations
    • Hydroelectric and power projects
    • High-value PFI/PPP and public infrastructure disputes

Many of the team's matters are confidential and involve some of the most significant construction disputes currently in the market.

    The Team

The successful candidate will work alongside highly respected construction disputes specialists with backgrounds at leading international firms. The team is known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence and commitment to developing junior lawyers through genuine responsibility and close partner mentorship.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career within a growing practice that combines first-class work with a supportive and collegiate environment.

    Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from lawyers with:

    • 1–4 years' PQE
    • Strong disputes experience, ideally including contentious construction matters
    • Experience of TCC litigation, adjudication and/or international arbitration
    • Excellent academics and strong drafting skills
    • A genuine interest in construction, infrastructure and energy disputes
    • The confidence to work directly with clients and take ownership of matters

    Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work on some of the most significant construction disputes in the market while joining a practice at an exciting stage of growth. It is particularly well suited to ambitious associates seeking high-quality work, close partner access and excellent long-term career progression.
