How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Personal Injury Fee Earner

    Hybrid | Full-Time | Permanent

Join a Growing Claimant Personal Injury Team

Harkaye Core Talent is delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive claimant law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team handling a varied caseload of litigated Road Traffic Accident (RTA) matters. You'll work in a supportive environment where quality legal work, client care and career development are genuinely valued.

Whether you're looking for greater autonomy, higher-quality work or the next step in your personal injury career, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact within an ambitious and expanding practice.

    The Opportunity

You'll manage your own caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Fast Track personal injury matters, including claims that have exited the RTA and OIC Portals.

    Your caseload will involve:

    • Non-Portal Fast Track RTA claims.
    • Litigated Part 7 and Part 8 matters.
    • Liability and quantum disputes.
    • Pre and post-litigation case management through to settlement or Trial where appropriate.

This is a busy and rewarding role that will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their files while delivering exceptional client care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage your own caseload from liability decision through to settlement.
    • Handle litigated personal injury claims through all stages of the process.
    • Draft witness statements, court applications and instructions to Counsel.
    • Prepare Trial bundles and comply with Court directions.
    • Accurately value general and special damages.
    • Identify litigation opportunities and develop effective case strategies.
    • Deliver excellent client service throughout every stage of the claim.
    • Meet commercial and performance objectives while maintaining high technical standards.
    • Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

    About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

    • At least two years' experience handling litigated personal injury claims.
    • Strong knowledge of the RTA and OIC Portals and associated protocols.
    • Experience managing Fast Track litigated claims.
    • Confidence handling disputed liability and quantum matters.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • A proactive and client-focused approach to case management.

Experience with Proclaim case management software would be advantageous but is not essential.

    Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a modern and ambitious claimant practice where you'll be trusted to manage your own caseload while continuing to develop your technical expertise. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values quality, supports progression and encourages long-term career development.

If you're looking for a fresh challenge within claimant personal injury and would like to find out more, we'd love to hear from you.
