How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Conflicts Advisor - Law Firm


    Chance for a Conflicts Advisor to join a global General Counsel & Risk function. The team plays a critical role in ensuring all new clients and matters are accepted in line with firm policies, regulatory requirements and risk management procedures.


    Working within a collaborative international team, you will support partners and lawyers globally by managing conflict checks, assessing risk, advising on conflicts and information barriers, and contributing to the ongoing development of risk and compliance processes.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage conflict checks for new matters globally, identifying and helping resolve legal and commercial conflicts of interest.
    • Review new client and matter opportunities using internal and external research sources.
    • Advise partners and lawyers on conflicts, information barriers, policies and procedures.
    • Assess wider business risks, including reputational, sanctions, financial crime and commercial conflict considerations.
    • Partner closely with Financial Crime teams on Matter Risk Assessments.
    • Work collaboratively with international colleagues to ensure seamless global service delivery.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of conflicts and information barrier management processes and technology.
    • Support the continued growth of an effective and high-performing global conflicts team.


    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • A Law degree and/or LPC qualification.
    • Previous experience within a Conflicts Advisor role within a law firm.
    • A strong understanding of conflicts of interest and confidential information obligations.
    • Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement.
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
