Job Title: Head of Human Resources
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Pattern: On-site, 5 days per week
Location: Central London
Salary: £120,000–£150,000
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of both the strategic and operational HR agenda, leading the development of a modern, commercially focused HR function across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing the regional HR framework, including organisational design, job grading, performance management and reward structures.
- Developing HR policies, procedures and governance across multiple countries while ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Leading talent acquisition, workforce planning and employer branding initiatives to support continued business growth.
- Managing compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking, payroll, pensions and HR budgeting.
- Overseeing UK immigration, Sponsor Licence compliance and Right to Work processes.
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations, organisational change, succession planning and leadership development.
- Building HR reporting and people analytics to support strategic business decisions.
- Leading and developing the regional HR team while acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior management.
About You
You'll be an experienced HR leader who enjoys building high-performing HR functions, influencing senior stakeholders and working within a dynamic international environment. We're looking for someone with:
- Significant HR leadership experience within the energy, oil & gas sector.
- Experience supporting businesses across multiple European countries and, ideally, North America.
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, pensions and immigration compliance.
- Proven experience in organisational design, HR transformation and change management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
