How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Purpose of the role

    The Product Development Assistant, RTW supports the team in delivering the end to end product development process across ready-to-wear categories.


    Responsibilities

    • Assist the team in all daily collection development tasks
    • Centralize supply needs and prepare shipments to factories, maintaining accurate tracking
    • Prepare and send packages throughout the collection development process
    • Prepare fittings and normalisation meetings in support of the developer
    • Support the team in setting up meetings, ensuring materials are organized, tidy, and easy for
    • everyone to understand
    • Support detail review meetings and the preparation of production Bom’s
    • Organize, file, and archive garments and vendor swatches
    • Input and update product information into AirTable, ensuring accuracy is maintained throughout the collection
    • Liaise with vendors regarding shipments, tracking and monitoring deliveries to ensure timely
    • arrival
    • Support the Product Development team with technical feasibility of products, brainstorming
    • ideas and solutions to ensure the design vision is translated into product
    • Sample /stock management
    • PO management- prototypes, samples, excess stock, organising and recording all invoices
    • Tracking and reporting on budget for product development, prototypes and samples
    • Updating boards and collection books
    • Provide administrative support to the Product Development team as required


    Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required

    • 1-2 years Product Development experience required
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience with large volumes of data entry, ensuring complete detail and accuracy even when working at speed
    • Commercial awareness of product cost and tracking against budgets
    • Good communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear, concise way
    • Knowledge and passion for fashion and products – ‘fashion sensibility’ - knowledge of trends, the market, the luxury consumer and peer awareness
    • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Technical knowledge of RTW construction, leather, materials, and product performance is an advantage
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Excel and experience with Airtable (or similar product data management/project tracking platforms) is highly desirable
