How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Multidisciplinary Designer @Pavegen (Central London, Hybrid)

Imagine a world where every step does not just move you forward, it powers the future. At Pavegen, we transform footsteps into clean electricity and real time data. Our award winning technology turns sustainability into something you can see, feel and interact with, from global brand activations to smart city installations. With over half a billion footsteps collected, we are helping the world take tangible steps towards a cleaner, more connected future.

We are looking for a Multidisciplinary Designer to join our growing team, creating experiences that unite physical environments, digital interaction and sustainable technology. You will collaborate closely with our Product and Experience Design Lead, sales, marketing & engineers and developers, taking ideas from concept through to immersive, interactive delivery.

    What you will do

    • Design engaging visuals, interfaces and motion content for experiential projects and digital tools
    • Use Blender, Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to develop 3D scenes, animations and assets for client presentations and live environments
    • Create and refine designs that enhance how people interact with Pavegen technology
    • Produce decks, presentations and visual sets to support sales, marketing and investment
    • Work collaboratively across disciplines to deliver projects from concept to deployment
    • Support production artwork and 3D handovers, ensuring consistency across brand and project outputs

    Core skills

    • Strong portfolio showing graphic design, motion, 3D visualisation and UX or UI work
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro
    • Experience with Blender for 3D modelling, rendering and animation
    • Working knowledge of Figma and UX or UI principles

Bonus skills, not essential but valued

    • Video editing and motion graphics for storytelling
    • Experience creating social or experiential content
    • Basic understanding of game design, coding or electronics
    • Design for print and installation artwork
    • Photography or video capture

    What we are looking for

    • Degree in a design related discipline
    • Right to work in the UK
    • Excellent English communication skills
    • One to three years of experience in a design role, ideally across digital and experiential projects
    • Enthusiastic, curious and comfortable in a hybrid London based set up

    What we offer

    • The chance to shape live experiences for brands including Volvo, Kia, Ford, Google and Siemens
    • Exposure to a wide range of design disciplines, from motion, to UX or UI, to environmental design
    • Mentorship and collaboration with an experienced design team
    • Opportunities to expand your creative skill set and professional development
    • A supportive, inclusive team with regular social activities
    • The satisfaction of contributing to technology that powers sustainability

If this sounds like you, apply online or send your portfolio and cover letter to design@pavegen.com, and help us design the future, one step at a time.
