How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Designer & Production Assistant

PHIX is a rapidly growing premium fashion brand inspired by British rock 'n' roll, timeless tailoring and iconic cultural style.

Known for collaborations including The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, we create collections that combine elevated craftsmanship with bold design, vintage influences and a distinctive visual identity.

We're looking for someone who genuinely lives and breathes fashion.

Someone who studies silhouettes, notices the cut of a jacket across the street, saves vintage references for fun, and gets excited by beautiful fabrics, exceptional tailoring and thoughtful design details.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside our founder and creative team, helping shape future collections from the earliest concepts through to final production.

If you're looking for a traditional corporate fashion role where you'll be working on a small part of a product, this probably isn't for you.

If you want to be immersed in every stage of the creative process and contribute to building one of the UK's most exciting independent fashion brands, we'd love to hear from you.

Applications that email their portfolio directly to our Creative Director at adam@phixclothing.com will be prioritised.

    The Opportunity

You'll work across both design and product development, gaining exposure to every stage of bringing a collection to life.

From researching new concepts and developing products to fitting samples, communicating with manufacturers and refining garments before production, you'll play an important role in creating collections sold around the world.

You'll work closely with our founder, designers and production team in a fast-moving environment where great ideas are encouraged, creativity is valued and attention to detail matters.

    What You'll Be Doing
    • Supporting the design and development of upcoming menswear collections.
    • Helping transform creative ideas into finished products.
    • Preparing and updating tech packs, design specifications and product documentation.
    • Communicating with suppliers and manufacturers regarding samples, fabrics, trims and revisions.
    • Assisting with garment fittings, measurements and product refinement.
    • Organising fabrics, trims, labels and development samples.
    • Researching vintage references, fabrics, silhouettes and inspiration for future collections.
    • Supporting special collaborations and product launches.
    • Maintaining organised product information across Airtable, Google Drive and internal systems.
    • Creating presentation boards, collection overviews and visual design documents.
    • Using modern AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve creative development, research and workflow efficiency.

    Who We're Looking For

We're much more interested in attitude, creativity and taste than simply the number of years you've worked.

    The ideal person will:

    • Have exceptional taste and a strong eye for proportion, colour and detail.
    • Be genuinely passionate about fashion, music, design and visual culture.
    • Have a natural curiosity and constantly seek inspiration.
    • Be highly organised and enjoy working across multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Take pride in producing work of an exceptionally high standard.
    • Be proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn.
    • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, founder-led creative environment.
    • Be excited by the opportunity to help build an internationally recognised fashion brand.

    Skills & Experience
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • An understanding of garment construction, fabrics and product development.
    • Previous experience in fashion design, product development or production is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
    • Confidence using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and other modern productivity tools.

    Why Join PHIX?

This is an opportunity to be part of a brand that's growing rapidly and producing collections inspired by some of the most iconic figures in music and culture.

You'll gain hands-on experience across the entire product development process, work directly with senior decision-makers, and have the opportunity to contribute ideas that genuinely influence the final product.

We believe the best ideas can come from anyone. If you have a great idea, we want to hear it.

If you're ambitious, creative and passionate about building exceptional products, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact here.

    About PHIX

PHIX creates premium menswear inspired by music, culture and timeless style.

Our collections are worn by musicians, artists and creatives around the world, and we're proud to have collaborated with globally recognised names including The Rolling Stones and David Bowie.

As we continue to expand internationally, we're building a team united by creativity, craftsmanship, innovation and a shared ambition to create products that stand out for all the right reasons.
