How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role type: Full-time

Salary: £27,000–£31,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset.

Location: London-based, Hybrid (2-3 days per week in our Dalston studio, plus travel to events across the UK).

    Start Date: August 2026 (flexible)

    Application deadline: 1st August 2026

We're looking for a creative, organised and proactive Content & Studio Assistant to become a key member of the Clothes Cycle team.

If you're obsessed with social media, confident in front of the camera and excited by the idea of helping grow one of the UK's largest thrift markets, we'd love to hear from you. No experience is necessary, we're looking for the right person, not the perfect CV.

As a small, fast-growing team, no two days are the same. From creating TikToks and travelling across the UK for our events to helping behind the scenes in our Dalston studio, you'll play a huge part in bringing Clothes Cycle to life.

    Your role will include:

    • Creating content across TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms.
    • Filming, editing and appearing in video content.
    • Keeping up with trends and pitching creative ideas.
    • Supporting the day-to-day running of our studio and business.
    • Assisting with event planning, logistics and general admin.
    • Travelling to and helping run Clothes Cycle events across the UK.

We're looking for someone who is:

    • Confident on camera and loves creating content.
    • Passionate about social media, fashion and sustainability.
    • Organised, proactive and happy to get stuck in.
    • Excited to work in a young, creative team.
    • Keen to grow in the role and become a core part of the business.

    How to apply:

Please send your CV, cover letter and Instagram/TikTok or creative portfolio to info@clothescyclemarkets.co.uk.

*PLEASE MAKE SURE THE JOB TITLE YOU ARE APPLYING FOR IS IN THE SUBJECT OF YOUR EMAIL*
