How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Cross-functional leadership: Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Engineering and Product Management to ensure smooth alignment of processes, systems, and culture
    • Project execution: Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope
    • Change management: Drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and adoption of new processes
    • Performance tracking: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure success of footprint optimization and integration efforts
    • Cross-cultural leadership: Build strong relationships across diverse cultures, functions, and geographies, fostering collaboration and alignment during periods of significant organizational change.
    • Risk management: Identify potential risks in integration and footprint projects, and develop mitigation strategies
    • Employee engagement: Lead consultation and communication activities associated with facility consolidations, relocations, restructurings and integrations, including engagement with Works Councils (Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and other applicable jurisdictions), Employee Representatives and Trade Unions
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, information and consultation requirements across EMEA

    Qualifications

    • University level degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
    • Five to eight years of experience in operations project management
    • Experience with acquisition integration, facility optimization or moving production lines
    • Proven track record of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and geographies
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in footprint rationalization, supply chain optimization or operational restructuring
