How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Join the newly established London team of one of the industry's most celebrated interior design studios, creating beautifully layered residential interiors.

    Position

As an Associate/Project Lead, you will take a leading role in the delivery of a significant, large-scale private residential project in prime London. Working as part of a growing London team and closely with the studio's international design leadership, you will oversee the project from design development through to completion.

This is a hands-on leadership position that combines project management with strong design and technical expertise. You will take ownership of project programming, scope, fees, administration and schedules, while overseeing the development and delivery of detailed interior architecture and bespoke joinery packages.

With an exceptional listed residential project in prime London to join, this is an opportunity to take a pivotal role in its successful delivery, working closely with the client and their representatives alongside consultants, contractors and specialist makers.

    Candidate

This role would suit an experienced interior designer or interior architect who is already operating at Associate or leadership level and has a proven track record of leading large-scale, high-end private residential projects from concept through to completion.

    • A minimum of 8 years' experience within high-end interior design, with a strong background in luxury private residential projects.
    • Demonstrable experience leading large-scale, prime residential projects, delivering work of a similar calibre to this studio.
    • Proven experience as a Project Lead, taking ownership of projects from design development through to completion.
    • Strong project management skills, including programming, scope, fees, project administration and schedules.
    • Excellent technical understanding of interior architecture, bespoke joinery and detailed design.
    • Experience delivering large-scale projects.
    • Confident managing and reviewing detailed technical drawing packages.
    • Experience working directly with HNW clients and their representatives, with an exceptional client manner.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
    • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of project delivery while working collaboratively with senior design leadership.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS

    Studio

This internationally acclaimed interior design studio is expanding its presence in London. Renowned for delivering exceptional high-end residential interiors, the studio is recognised for its refined design aesthetic, meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising commitment to quality.

Based in a desirable central London location, the team offers a beautiful studio environment, a collaborative culture and hybrid working, with the flexibility to work from home two days per week. Additional benefits include private healthcare and the opportunity to join the London team at an exciting stage of its growth.
