Location: Reading (Hybrid – 2 days per week)
Compensation: Up to £40,000
Hawkwood are delighted to be partnering with a leading global SaaS provider, helping organisations digitise procurement, supplier management and business spend, to hire an HR Advisor as they build a newly formed People team during an exciting period of transformation.
As part of this transformation, the business is investing in a modern, commercially focused People function that will play a pivotal role in supporting its next phase of growth. Backed by leading private equity investors Pollen Street Capital and DBAY Advisors, the organisation is continuing to invest in its people, technology and international expansion across the UK, Europe and the US.
This is an opportunity to join at the beginning of that journey, working alongside an experienced People leader to help shape how HR operates within a growing international business. You'll become a key member of a lean, high-performing team, taking ownership of HR operations while gaining exposure to strategic people projects across L&D, Employee Relations and international HR. With genuine autonomy, excellent mentoring and clear opportunities for progression, it's an ideal role for someone looking to accelerate their HR career within a collaborative, technology-driven environment.
What you'll do:
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless onboarding, internal moves and offboarding across multiple regions.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, maintaining accurate employee records and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
- Produce monthly HR reports, dashboards and board-ready presentations, providing meaningful people insights to senior stakeholders.
- Support payroll through accurate employee data management and HR administration.
- Take ownership of HighBob, continuously improving processes and maximising the value of the platform.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology, automation and continuous improvement.
- Support a variety of HR projects across employee experience, systems and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the UK, Europe and the US as the People function continues to evolve.
You will bring:
- Around 3+ years' HR experience within a broad generalist or HR operations role.
- Experience managing employee lifecycle processes within a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong HR systems capability, with HighBob experience highly advantageous.
- Confidence producing HR reporting, metrics and management information for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with a passion for creating efficient processes.
- Previous payroll exposure would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Experience within SaaS, technology or another high-growth commercial business would be advantageous.
- A proactive, action-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
