Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking for your next offshore challenge?
We are recruiting for skilled mechanical technicians to join a world-class offshore LNG operation aboard advanced vessels that liquefy natural gas at sea. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a highly professional, safety-driven environment.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of rotating and static mechanical equipment, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned, preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
- Maintain pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, heat exchangers and associated equipment.
- Carry out inspections and condition monitoring activities.
- Complete maintenance records using a CMMS.
- Work safely within Permit to Work (PTW) and isolation procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Electrical and Instrument teams to maximise plant availability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
- A recognised Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
- Previous offshore Oil & Gas, LNG, FLNG, FPSO, marine, petrochemical or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programmes and fault finding.
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience on LNG or FLNG facilities.
- Offshore survival and medical certificates (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Experience using SAP or other Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of vibration analysis, laser alignment and condition monitoring.
