Job Title: Mechanical Team Leader
Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP)
Service Area: Service Delivery
Hours of Work: 37 Per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £42,000 to £48,000
What you will be doing:
You’ll be ensuring that the day-to-day operations are managed, responsible for the delivery of all statutory and regulatory maintenance covered across the site with key performance indicators, measured monthly to track compliance.
- Leading and motivating a team
- As a Team Lead, you will be required to attend jobs and support work activities, providing sound technical support and advice alongside your team
- Carrying out regular spot checks to your engineering team to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Taking a leading role in the efficient scheduling of planned, reactive and remedial maintenance work ensuring all work is planned accordingly, including notification of staff availability, parts on order/available
- Operational activity of ship docking, waterfront services and electrical/mechanical maintenance.
- Undertake assurance inspections on works in progress and retrospective works to ensure completion in line with financial and quality objectives.
What you will bring:
- People leadership skills, with ability to raise motivation
- Knowledge and experience of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM)
About you:
- Be familiar with KPI and STO reporting
- Experience of working within an FM maintenance team
- Have experience in working with technical specifications and have a good understanding of safe systems of work
