How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    People & Development Partner

Holiday Inn London Heathrow M4J4, Holiday Inn Basildon, Holiday Inn Brentwood & London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel

Shape Culture. Develop Talent. Make a Lasting Impact. Great hotels are built by great people.

At LGH Hotels Management, we know that exceptional guest experiences begin behind the scenes—with engaged teams, inspiring leaders, and a culture where people feel valued, supported, and able to thrive. We're looking for a People & Development Director to partner with our leadership teams across four hotels.

This is far more than a traditional HR role. You'll be a trusted business partner, culture champion, coach, and change leader, helping our hotels build engaged teams that deliver extraordinary results.

You'll work closely with General Managers and operational leaders to create environments where people feel a sense of belonging, purpose, growth, and recognition—the foundations of high-performing teams and exceptional hospitality.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Partnering with hotel leadership teams to drive people strategy and business performance.
    • Coaching and supporting managers to build confident, capable, and engaged teams.
    • Leading talent attraction, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.
    • Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing programmes across the region.
    • Driving performance, employee relations, and organisational effectiveness.
    • Championing diversity, inclusion, and belonging across all hotels.
    • Using people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve outcomes.
    • Supporting change management and transformation projects.
    • Ensuring compliance while creating people-focused solutions that enable business success.

    Who This Role Is For

This opportunity could be perfect for you if:

    • You're currently an HR Business Partner, Head of People, Senior HR Manager, Regional HR Manager, or People & Development Leader looking for a broader commercial role.
    • You enjoy influencing senior stakeholders and being part of operational decision-making.
    • You're passionate about culture, engagement, talent development, and leadership coaching.
    • You thrive in multi-site environments and enjoy balancing strategy with hands-on support.
    • You're confident in challenging the status quo and driving meaningful change.
    • You understand that people initiatives should support both employee experience and business performance.
    • You believe the best workplaces are built on trust, purpose, belonging, achievement, and growth.

    What You'll Bring

    • Strong HR Business Partnering experience within a multi-site environment.
    • A commercial mindset with the ability to align people strategy to business goals.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    • Experience leading employee engagement, talent, and organisational development initiatives.
    • Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
    • A passion for developing people and helping leaders succeed.
