How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Senior Consultant for consultancy within Professional Services

Do you see yourself in a role where you help individuals and organisations solve complex psychological challenges – both on an individual and team level?

Then the position as Senior Consultant at Human House may be for you. We are seeking experienced business psychologists to join our UK team.

    Who are we?

Human House is an international, multidisciplinary consultancy within leadership and occupational safety and health, with a supportive and engaged team dedicated to making a difference for our clients. We operate from offices in both England and Denmark, working with a broad range of areas related to leadership and workplace environment.

    Consultancy delivery

You design and deliver consultancy projects independently and to a high professional standard – both in-person and virtually. Your work may include:

    • Consulting with clients to develop and implement solutions focused on resilience, stress, mental health and wellbeing
    • Designing and facilitating team development activities based on The Myers-Briggs Company’s assessment tools.
    • Creating and running leadership development programmes.
    • Leading workshops for managers on topics such as self-awareness, communication, change, conflict, and leadership.
    • Providing coaching sessions for managers and leaders at all organisational levels.
    • Conducting follow-up action planning and personal development planning sessions.
    • Working across all organisational levels, including senior management, within various aspects of talent management and development.

    Project management

You manage projects independently and effectively, ensuring they are delivered profitably, to a high standard of quality, and with strong client relationships. Working closely with our Operations team, you secure the appropriate internal and associate resources to provide excellent service to our clients. Throughout, you follow both Human House’s and the client’s project management processes, including regular and timely reporting, accurate invoicing, thorough post-delivery reviews, and the integration of client feedback for continuous improvement.

    Business Development

You proactively drive the sales process by identifying prospects, following up on leads, managing calls, and preparing proposals and contracts. You demonstrate expertise and professionalism in your interactions with senior clients, clearly communicating the value Human House delivers. You build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and challenges. You identify upselling opportunities for both you and your colleagues by recognising additional client needs. You follow and promote internal business development processes. You contribute to marketing by supporting articles, case studies, webinars and seminars, and by representing Human House at conferences.

Our thoughts on a new colleague

We are looking for someone who:

    • Holds a Master’s qualification in psychology or equivalent.
    • Has in-depth business development experience and a proven track record in business psychology/OD consulting.
    • Is comfortable designing and delivering consultancy solutions with minimal supervision.
    • Is experienced with psychometric tools and passionate about team and leadership development.
    • Is proactive, self-driven and professional in interactions with senior level client contracts.
    • Is able and willing to travel within the UK and Europe as required (driving license needed).

    Main terms and conditions

    • A full-time position (37.5 hours per week; flexibility possible).
    • 25 days paid holiday (increasing to 30 with long service) plus up to five days unpaid leave per annum.
    • Free individual private healthcare and dental cover.
    • Group personal pension scheme with employer matching.
    • Life assurance and long-term disability insurance.
    • Employee Assistance Programme.
    • Six-month probationary period applies.
    • The contractual notice period is one month on either side during the first 12 months, increasing to two months thereafter.
