Responsible Individual - Parent & Child Assessment Centre (Residential Family Centre)
At Cedars, our vision is to create a warm, safe and nurturing environment where parents and their children can thrive while receiving the support, guidance and assessments they need. We believe every family deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect, and that the best outcomes are achieved through experienced leadership, strong governance and a genuine commitment to high-quality practice.
Our ambition is to build a service that Local Authorities, professionals and families can place their confidence in—one recognised for its integrity, professionalism and commitment to improving outcomes for children and their families.
As the service is currently progressing through registration, involvement initially is expected to be relatively limited before naturally increasing once the service becomes operational.
The Role
As Responsible Individual, you will provide strategic leadership and governance, working closely with the directors and Registered Manager to ensure the service operates safely, effectively and in full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping a new service from the outset and helping establish the culture, standards and values that will underpin Cedars for years to come.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous experience as a Responsible Individual
- A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and governance.
- Experience supporting regulated services through registration, inspection and ongoing compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for developing high-quality services.
- Experience within a Residential Family Centre / Parent & Child Assessment Centre would be highly desirable.
If you’d like to be part of building a service where children and families are at the heart of everything we do, we’d love to hear from you.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, right-to-work checks and all safer recruitment requirements.
