How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

I'm working with a leading technology organisation delivering some of the UK's most advanced cyber capabilities. They're looking for talented Vulnerability Researchers and Reverse Engineers to join a highly specialised team tackling some of the toughest technical challenges in National Security.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Conducting vulnerability research and reverse engineering across a range of complex platforms and technologies.
    • Analysing software and hardware to identify security weaknesses and develop proof-of-concept exploits.

    • Capture the Flag (CTF), bug bounty or independent security research experience
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences

Professional experience is welcomed, but strong technical hobbyists and researchers with demonstrable skills are also encouraged to apply.

    What's On Offer

    • Salary up to £75,000
    • Dedicated training budget, including industry conferences and specialist courses
    • Structured technical career progression
    • Flexible working arrangements
    • Excellent pension and comprehensive benefits package
    • The opportunity to work on genuinely unique projects that have a direct impact on UK National Security

Please note: Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance and have the right to work in the UK.
