How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Investment Associate | Pan-European Real Estate Special Situations, London

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a highly entrepreneurial and rapidly growing real estate investment platform focused on pan-European special situations.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced senior leadership team, gaining exposure to the full investment lifecycle across complex, value-driven real estate transactions throughout the UK and Western Europe, including France, Germany, the Benelux region and Southern Europe.

As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in the origination, underwriting, execution and asset management of investments across a diverse range of special situations opportunities. Working within a lean, high-performing team, you will receive significant responsibility from day one, direct exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to accelerate your career within a growing investment platform.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support deal origination, market mapping and pipeline development across the UK and Continental Europe.
    • Build and maintain detailed financial models and undertake investment underwriting.
    • Coordinate legal, technical, commercial and financial due diligence processes.
    • Prepare Investment Committee papers, financial analysis and investment recommendations.
    • Support transaction execution through to completion.
    • Assist with portfolio reporting, business planning and investor presentations.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • 2–5 years' experience within real estate private equity, private credit, special situations, restructuring, opportunistic real estate or distressed investing.
    • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen with exceptional attention to detail.
    • A genuine interest in special situations, opportunistic investing and complex real estate transactions.
    • Ideally, experience investing across the UK and Western European markets, particularly France and Germany.
    • Highly motivated, intellectually curious and eager to develop within a fast-growing investment platform.
    • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and high-performance environment.
    • A proactive team player with excellent communication skills, strong integrity and a first-class work ethic.

    What's on Offer

    • Exposure to high-profile, cross-border investment transactions across Europe.
    • Direct mentoring from an experienced senior leadership team.
    • Genuine responsibility from day one within a lean investment team.
    • Excellent long-term career progression as the platform continues to grow.
    • Competitive base salary and performance-related annual bonus.
