We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual to support Manor Fresh's sustainability, ethical sourcing and supply chain due diligence programmes. The role will help ensure compliance with customer, legal and industry requirements, drive continuous improvement across environmental and human rights initiatives, and work collaboratively with suppliers, customers and stakeholders to deliver responsible sourcing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support supplier due diligence, approval and compliance programmes across the supply chain.
- Support environmental management, sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives.
- Collect and report sustainability data to measure and drive business performance.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers and key stakeholders to support sustainability objectives.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of food supply chains, farming systems and supplier assurance.
- Knowledge of sustainability, ethical trading, human rights or environmental compliance principles.
- Understanding of industry standards and schemes including SEDEX, SMETA, BRCGS and retailer requirements.
- Good data analysis and reporting skills.
Desirable:
- Experience within fresh produce, agriculture or FMCG supply chains.
- Experience supporting sustainability, ethical trading or responsible sourcing programmes.
- Knowledge of carbon accounting, food waste reduction or environmental management systems.
- Experience working with retailer sustainability requirements, including M&S.
- Qualification in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline.
