How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Programme Lead - DB Endgame & Pension Scheme Transitions

    London | Hybrid

Have you helped Defined Benefit pension schemes through their endgame journey?

We're working with a leading pensions governance business to recruit a Programme Lead to oversee a growing portfolio of complex Defined Benefit (DB) pension scheme transitions.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the coordination, governance and delivery of programmes supporting schemes through buy-in, buy-out and wider endgame activity, ensuring multiple client transitions are delivered efficiently and consistently.

With around 30 client schemes expected over the next 12 months, growing to more than 60 thereafter, you'll play a key role in bringing structure, visibility and control across a large portfolio of concurrent projects.

You'll work closely with Client Directors, Programme Coordinators and operational teams, helping to oversee governance, delivery, resource planning, reporting, data readiness and the continual evolution of programme delivery.

    What you'll be doing

    • Overseeing a portfolio of concurrent DB pension transition programmes
    • Coordinating programme governance, reporting and delivery across multiple client schemes
    • Working closely with Client Directors to ensure successful scheme transitions
    • Supporting programme planning, onboarding and delivery assurance
    • Identifying risks, dependencies and cross-project issues
    • Leading improvements to programme governance, reporting and delivery processes
    • Supporting large-scale data cleansing and migration activities
    • Helping evolve programme delivery through Monday.com and the organisation's proprietary EndGame methodology

We're particularly interested in people with experience of:

    • Defined Benefit pension administration and endgame programmes
    • Buy-in and buy-out transactions
    • Pension scheme transitions or wind-up activity
    • Pension administration migrations or implementation programmes
    • Working with trustees, insurers, administrators or governance businesses
    • Programme or project leadership within complex pensions environments

Experience of Monday.com or similar delivery platforms would be advantageous but isn't essential.

    Why join?

    • Lead one of the organisation's most important strategic programmes
    • Shape how a growing portfolio of DB endgame projects is delivered
    • Work with some of the UK's largest pension schemes and industry stakeholders
    • Hybrid working (typically two days a week in Central London)
    • Excellent long-term career progression
