How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Henderson Design Group is the UK’s leading wallpaper designer, manufacturer and online retailer, based in Hartlepool. Across our three distinct home decor brands, I Love Wallpaper, Lust Home and Lucie Annabel, we design, print, sell and dispatch wallcoverings from our North East operation. We are ambitious, fast-moving and continually evolving, with long-term plans to grow our brands, expand our reach and strengthen the way we connect with customers across every digital touchpoint.

    The opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a stylist who lives and breathes interiors, to shape the look and feel of content across three growing home decor brands. Working at the heart of our creative team, you will style inspiring interior spaces for photography and video, choosing the furniture, props and finishing touches that bring each brand to life.

Your work will be front and centre, seen across our campaigns, websites and social channels. It would suit someone with a strong interiors eye who loves the hands-on craft of styling a room, and who has the organisation to keep shoots running smoothly.

    About the role

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Creative Set Stylist shapes the visual identity of content across all three Henderson Design Group brands through exceptional interior styling and creative execution.

Working at the heart of the creative team, you will lead the styling and creation of inspiring interior spaces for photography and video, and make sure content is delivered efficiently by managing shoot preparation, location sourcing, room-set creation, prop management and workflow coordination. This is a hands-on creative role based at our Hartlepool studio, with travel to location shoots.

    Key responsibilities

Shape and style inspiring interior spaces that bring our three brands to life on camera, and keep production running smoothly from planning through to the finished shoot.

    Interior Styling

    • Lead the styling of interior room sets across photography, video and social content.
    • Create visually inspiring environments that reflect each brand's aesthetic and commercial objectives.
    • Select, source and style furniture, accessories, artwork, textiles and decorative objects to create aspirational spaces.
    • Interpret creative briefs and mood boards into beautifully executed room schemes.
    • Stay informed on interior trends, colour palettes and styling techniques to continually elevate creative output.
    • Work closely with photographers, videographers and the wider creative team to achieve the strongest visual results.

    Prop Sourcing & Asset Management

    • Source, purchase and manage props required for content production.
    • Maintain and organise prop inventories and studio assets.
    • Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of production materials.

    Shoot Production

    • Lead the preparation and organisation of studio and location-based photography and video shoots.
    • Coordinate shoot logistics, including equipment, transport, schedules and resources.
    • Ensure all locations, room sets and supporting materials are fully prepared ahead of shoots.
    • Deliver shoots within the agreed budget.
    • Ensure the team on set is compliant with industry standards and legal expectations including health and safety.

    Location & Creative Partner Management

    • Research, source and secure suitable shoot locations.
    • Build and manage relationships with venues, agents, suppliers and freelance creative partners.
    • Negotiate bookings and coordinate all external production requirements.

    Production Planning & Coordination

    • Manage the scheduling, planning and coordination of all content production activities across multiple brands.
    • Develop and maintain production timelines, shoot schedules and creative workflows.
    • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to brief.
    • Identify production requirements and proactively resolve logistical challenges.
    • Continuously review production practices to improve output, quality and delivery speed.

    Content Support

    • Be hands-on in the creation and delivery of social and digital content across multiple channels.
    • Assist in creating mixed-media content production where required.

    Knowledge, skills and experience

    • Experience as an Interior Stylist, Set Stylist or in a similar interiors-focused creative role.
    • Proven experience styling interiors for photography, video, editorial or commercial content.
    • An exceptional eye for interior styling and visual storytelling.
    • Strong understanding of colour, composition, texture, lighting and spatial design.
    • Strong understanding of current interiors, home decor and lifestyle trends.
    • Ability to translate creative concepts and briefs into beautifully styled spaces.
    • Experience sourcing furniture, props and styling accessories.
    • Experience working on location and within studio environments.
    • Understanding of photography and video production workflows.
    • Excellent planning, scheduling, coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and confidence collaborating across creative teams.
    • Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to production challenges.
    • Able to work independently with limited supervision, communicating up, down and laterally with key stakeholders across the business.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering premium creative work.
    • Full UK driving licence.

    Desired but not essential

    • Experience within interiors, home decor, furniture or design-led brands.
    • Experience supporting social media and digital content creation.
    • Experience working with freelance creatives and external agencies.
