A leading London disputes practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–4 years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Commercial Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to work on complex, high-value commercial disputes within a team recognised for the quality of its work and its strong track record of taking cases through to trial.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of an established disputes team advising a broad range of clients on significant commercial litigation matters. The role offers early responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to play an active role throughout the lifecycle of complex disputes, including trial preparation and advocacy support.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters.
- Advising clients on a wide range of complex commercial disputes.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications and other court documents.
- Conducting legal research and preparing strategic advice.
- Assisting with trial preparation and attending hearings where required.
- Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on high-profile matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–4 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation gained at a top law firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial dispute resolution.
- Experience handling complex, high-value litigation.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within commercial disputes.
