At JAAQ, we're revolutionizing mental health support through technology. We've built an innovative mental health tech company centered around our dynamic video content platform - but that's just the beginning. Our mission goes beyond delivering content; we're actively reshaping how society approaches mental wellbeing, breaking down stigmas, and creating genuine human connections through technology. As pioneers in this space, we combine clinical excellence with engaging digital experiences to meet people where they are on their health journey.
JAAQ is building a library of evidence-based mental health resources and is committed to creating content that combines clinical accuracy with engagement and accessibility. Our goal extends beyond content delivery-we aim to help people develop sustainable positive changes in their mental health through technology-enabled learning and support, ultimately shifting societal perceptions of mental health care.
At JAAQ, we believe in expanding access to mental health resources and creating innovative pathways to care through technology.
The Role
We are looking for a Clinical Operations & Evidence Lead to be the operational backbone of JAAQ's clinical function. You will work across clinical governance, partnership delivery, evidence generation, and regulatory due diligence - making sure our clinical commitments actually get delivered, on time and to the standard our partners expect.
This is a cross-functional role. You'll manage the operational workstreams behind our NHS, insurer, and enterprise partnerships. You'll coordinate governance processes, lead outcomes measurement, prepare due diligence documentation, and keep the clinical team's deliverables on track. If the Clinical Safety Officer owns product safety and the Clinical Content Lead owns content quality, you own the operational machinery that connects everything else.
You will report to the Chief Medical Officer and work closely with the Clinical Content Lead and Clinical Safety Officer.
The Impact You Will Have.
You will be a key member of the clinical team at JAAQ, working across teams to build and maintain our clinical operations and evidence base. Your work will involve:
Clinical Governance Operations
- Coordinating clinical governance processes including maintaining documentation and tracking actions from governance reviews
- Preparing clinical governance materials for board reporting and partner due diligence
- Managing the operational delivery of compliance workstreams alongside the Clinical Safety Officer
- Maintaining and updating clinical policies, procedures, and operational frameworks
- Coordinating internal clinical audits and tracking remediation actions
Partnership Delivery
- Managing the operational delivery of clinical validation partnerships (e.g. NHS trusts, academic institutions) including timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications
- Preparing clinical documentation for NHS and insurer due diligence processes including DTAC submissions, DPIAs, and clinical governance evidence packs
- Coordinating with external research partners on study logistics, data collection, and reporting
- Drafting clinical sections of proposals, tenders, and method statements for commercial due diligence
Evidence and Outcomes
- Designing and managing outcomes measurement frameworks aligned to validated instruments (e.g. PHQ-9, GAD-7, WSAS, PAM-MH)
- Leading the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical impact data from JAAQ's platform and partnerships
- Contributing to study design for clinical evaluation and service evaluation projects
- Building the evidence base that supports JAAQ's commercial claims, regulatory positioning, and clinical credibility
- Supporting post-market surveillance data collection and analysis
Cross-Functional
- Working with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure clinical accuracy in external-facing materials
- Coordinating clinical team workstreams, tracking deliverables and flagging capacity constraints
- Supporting thought leadership content, conference presentations, and clinical communications
- Contributing to JAAQ's internal education programme on clinical governance and safety
Impact and Growth at JAAQ
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Build the operational infrastructure that lets JAAQ deliver on clinical commitments to NHS, insurer, and enterprise partners
- Shape how evidence is generated and used at an innovative mental health technology company
- Develop expertise across clinical governance, health outcomes research, and digital health
- Contribute directly to clinical research partnerships with leading institutions
- Continue your clinical practice alongside this role

- A detail-oriented, analytical approach to evidence and data
- Strong relationship management skills - you work effectively with clinical, commercial, and technical stakeholders
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset suited to a startup
- A growth mindset and genuine interest in clinical governance and evidence in digital health

- Registered clinician (e.g. Psychologist, nurse, allied health professional) with current HCPC or equivalent registration

- Research or outcomes measurement experience including familiarity with validated clinical instruments
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, commercial, or operational teams
