How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • You'll lead and inspire a team of Nurses and Rehabilitation Support Workers, fostering a positive, supportive culture focused on excellence, accountability and professional development.
    • This role combines operational leadership with hands-on clinical oversight, making it ideal for an experienced Nurse Leader who enjoys developing teams, improving services and making a lasting impact on people's rehabilitation journeys.

    • Provide visible, hands-on clinical leadership, coaching and support to colleagues.
    • Promote a positive, compassionate and high-performing culture focused on person-centred care.
    • Ensure staffing, clinical practice and service delivery consistently meet Brainkind's high standards.

    Quality, Governance & Compliance

    • Lead clinical governance, quality assurance and audit activity across the service.
    • Drive continuous quality improvement and ensure compliance with CQC standards, legislation and Brainkind policies.
    • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement improvements where required.
    • Lead investigations, safeguarding processes and incident management where appropriate.

    Care & Rehabilitation

    • Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based care.
    • Coordinate admissions, discharges and complex clinical assessments.
    • Ensure rehabilitation programmes are delivered effectively alongside the multidisciplinary team.
    • Promote health, wellbeing and positive outcomes for every person we support.

    Team Leadership

    • Provide line management, supervision and performance management for Nursing and Rehabilitation Support staff.
    • Support recruitment, induction, training and ongoing professional development.
    • Mentor and develop future clinical leaders within the service.
    • Foster effective communication and collaborative working across all departments.

    Service Development

    • Support the Service Manager with the operational management and continued development of West Heath House.
    • Identify opportunities to improve care pathways, service quality and clinical outcomes.
    • Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, external professionals and regulatory bodies.

    About You

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate clinical leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional neurological care.

You'll be confident leading teams, driving quality improvements and supporting colleagues to reach their full potential.
