How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an inspiring, reflective and child-centred teacher who believes every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive? Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every pupil feels understood, valued and empowered to succeed?

At Lamledge School, we're looking for an exceptional KS3 Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is more than a teaching role—it's an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people with diverse learning needs.

You'll work alongside a passionate, supportive team committed to delivering outstanding education through neuro-affirming, trauma-informed practice. Together, we create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils with autism, communication differences, and social, emotional and developmental needs can develop confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.

If you're ready to bring creativity, compassion and high expectations to a school that truly lives its values every day, we'd love to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher at Lamledge School, you will:

Deliver inspiring, high-quality teaching across a broad range of subjects, ensuring every lesson promotes engagement, progress and meaningful learning for all pupils.

Champion inclusive education by supporting and developing our specialist SEN provision, working collaboratively with families, external professionals and our in-house therapy team to achieve the best outcomes for every child.

Model outstanding classroom practice, working alongside teachers and teaching assistants to share expertise, develop confidence and meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop independence, communication skills, resilience and confidence.

Use assessment, data and evidence-informed practice to set ambitious yet achievable targets, monitor progress and adapt teaching to maximise pupil achievement.

Play an active role in shaping the school's curriculum, contributing to whole-school improvement, curriculum development and positive behaviour approaches that reflect our values and vision.

Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers and the wider professional network, ensuring they are valued partners in supporting each pupil's educational journey.

    About you

Degree/ QTS or equivalent qualification relevant to sector required.

A strong understanding of primary‑aged learners and how to help them flourish.

    A genuine commitment to neuro‑affirming, trauma‑informed and child‑centred practice.

Knowledge of statutory curriculum requirements, assessment and high‑quality teaching strategies.

The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of developmental and communication needs.

A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work closely with our Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychotherapy teams.

Experience in a SEND setting (desirable but not essential).
