HV/LV Electrical Manager

Freedom has an exciting opportunity for an HV/LV Electrical Manager to lead the delivery of high voltage and low voltage electrical operations across a range of projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery while driving continuous improvement and supporting the development of operational teams.
Working in a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment, you will play a key role in shaping electrical delivery and supporting business growth across our portfolio.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
Lead and coordinate HV/LV electrical operations, including installation, maintenance and commissioning activities.
Manage project delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Support commercial activities including estimation, tender preparation and bid submissions.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSQE) standards and procedures.
Provide leadership, mentoring and development to operational teams, driving high performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
Oversee planning and resource allocation including labour, plant and materials.
Develop and implement best practice processes and operational procedures.
Utilise modern technology and systems to improve efficiency and performance.
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience managing HV and LV electrical operations within utilities, construction or industrial environments.
Strong commercial awareness including estimation and bid preparation.
Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and electrical standards.
Customer-focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent).
Desirable:
AP or SAP authorisation for HV/LV systems.
Experience working with modern digital tools and operational systems.
Experience delivering projects within regulated environments or for major utility clients.
