How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Business Development & Sales Manager (International B2B) £40,000–£50,000 + Uncapped Commission + International Travel + Career Progression + Office Based

Join a growing business where your ideas, ambition and results genuinely make a difference. Are you an ambitious Business Development & Sales Manager who thrives on winning new business, building long-term client relationships and making a real commercial impact?

We're looking for someone who wants more than just another sales role. This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a successful and growing business where your contribution will directly influence future growth and success.

As my client's Business Development & Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of the full sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and developing relationships through to negotiating and closing business. You'll also manage and mentor a Business Development Executive, helping to develop both the sales pipeline and the wider commercial success of the team.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll have genuine influence, autonomy and the opportunity to shape how the business continues to grow.

With an established international client base, you'll work with organisations across multiple countries and time zones, giving you exposure to global markets and ensuring every day brings new opportunities and challenges.

If you're commercially driven, relationship-focused and motivated by achieving results while making a genuine contribution to a business, we'd love to hear from you.

    The Opportunity

As Business Development & Sales Manager, you will:

Drive new business growth by identifying and converting high-quality opportunities.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
Develop trusted relationships with clients across an international customer base.
Conduct sales meetings both virtually and face-to-face.
Prepare compelling commercial proposals and negotiate successful outcomes.
Manage the entire sales process from prospecting through to closing.
Lead, mentor and support a Business Development Executive.
Work collaboratively with senior leadership to identify new commercial opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
Represent the business at networking events, exhibitions and international conferences when required. About You

You'll be an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager with a proven record of delivering new business growth within a B2B environment.

    You'll also have:

A passion for developing new business and building lasting client relationships.
A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
The confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.
Previous experience managing or mentoring a team member would be advantageous. We're Looking for Someone Who...
Wants to build a career rather than simply find their next job.
Takes ownership and accountability for their performance.
Understands that every conversation, relationship and sale contributes to the wider success of the business.
Thinks commercially and enjoys identifying opportunities others may miss.
Loves building genuine relationships with clients.
Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team.
Takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Wants to make a meaningful contribution and be recognised for it. What's In It For You?
    £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary
Uncapped commission with outstanding earning potential
A fun, supportive and collaborative working environment.
High levels of trust, autonomy and responsibility.
Direct access to senior leadership with the opportunity to influence business growth.
Management responsibility for a Business Development Executive.
Work with clients across multiple countries and international markets.
Opportunities to attend networking events, exhibitions and international conferences.
Ongoing professional development and genuine long-term career progression.
Join a business with exceptionally low staff turnover, reflecting its positive culture, supportive leadership and investment in its people. Why Join My Client?

This is more than a sales position.

It's an opportunity to join a business where your ideas are welcomed, your achievements are recognised and your contribution genuinely matters. You'll become part of a close-knit, ambitious team that enjoys celebrating success together, supports one another and is committed to achieving great things.

If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact while building an exciting long-term career, we'd love to hear from you.
