How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Block Manager – London

    Location: Central London
    Salary: Competitive + Benefits

    Hyperion Partners are delighted to be working on behalf of a highly regarded residential property management company to recruit an experienced Block Manager to join their growing London team.

    Our client manages a prestigious portfolio of residential developments across Central London, including luxury mansion blocks, high-end conversions, purpose-built developments and complex mixed portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Block Manager looking to manage premium assets while working within a collaborative and professional environment.

    The Role

    As Block Manager, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of residential developments, ensuring that each property is managed to the highest standard. You will build strong relationships with leaseholders, Resident Management Companies (RMCs), Right to Manage (RTM) companies, directors, contractors and professional advisers, delivering an exceptional level of customer service and regulatory compliance.

    Key responsibilities include:

    *

    Managing a portfolio of residential developments across London.

    *

    Preparing and managing service charge budgets alongside finance teams.

    *

    Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.

    *

    Managing contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, value and compliance.

    *

    Overseeing planned maintenance programmes and major works projects.

    *

    Managing Section 20 consultation processes from start to completion.

    *

    Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and property regulations.

    *

    Working closely with surveyors, consultants and external stakeholders on building safety matters.

    *

    Responding promptly and professionally to client and resident enquiries.

    About You

    We are keen to speak with experienced Block Managers who have a strong understanding of residential leasehold management and are confident managing complex developments.

    To be considered, you should have:

    *

    Previous experience as a Block Manager managing a residential portfolio.

    *

    Demonstrable experience managing High-Rise Residential Buildings (HRBs).

    *

    Proven experience overseeing Section 20 major works projects.

    *

    Experience managing new build residential developments.

    *

    Strong knowledge of current residential property legislation and building safety requirements.

    *

    Experience working with RTM companies, RMCs and leaseholders.

    *

    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    *

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    *

    A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
